My passion for the arts began as a young girl through the National Geographic Magazines scattered around my home, which I was constantly flipping through. This was followed by piano study from age 7 throughout college, studying art at the Toledo Museum of Art throughout my entire elementary school years, continuing throughout college and after. At age 8 I can remember falling in love with a huge Frank Stella painting that was painted with ice cream colors…it knocked me out. Studying dance from age 7 throughout my adult life has developed into a true appreciation of the human form. I have recently received a certificate in T’ai Chi Chuang. After teaching science, math and art I have switched to being an art consultant, web manager and photographer at a top ranking fine arts and crafts gallery in the US after owning my own frame shop/gallery for 5 years. On my day off I do custom framing at a local frame shop, where I handle some exquisite pieces. Traveling has also enhanced my vision, especially my travels to Cuba. I just can’t get enough of this ‘good stuff’.
